Creamy Baked Pork Chops and Potatoes — The Ultimate Comfort Dinner 😋

If you’re craving something hearty, cozy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, this easy baked pork chop and potato dish is exactly what you need. It’s a one-pan recipe that fills the kitchen with the kind of smell that makes everyone run to the table!

Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 6 bone-in pork chops
  • 5–6 medium potatoes, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional but amazing!)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika to taste
  • A touch of olive oil or butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a large glass baking dish with butter or spray.
  3. Layer potatoes evenly on the bottom, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Season pork chops with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, then place them on top of the potatoes.
  5. In a bowl, mix soup and milk until smooth, then pour it over everything.
  6. Top with onions (and cheese if you like it creamy and rich).
  7. Cover with foil and bake for about 50 minutes, then uncover and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Serve it straight from the pan with a little parsley on top — and don’t be surprised if everyone goes back for seconds (or thirds, like my husband did!).
